What You’ll Do
  • Help the Health and Wellness Director oversee nursing and caregiving staff, including scheduling and daily support.
  • Assist with new resident assessments, routine evaluations, and updates to care plans.
  • Ensure clinical documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Take part in medication management and auditing.
  • Support infection control, safety, and compliance efforts.
  • Be a resource for staff on care procedures and communication standards.
  • Help coordinate communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide leadership coverage when the Health and Wellness Director is away.
  • Assist with training new staff and supporting ongoing education.
  • Help maintain staffing levels and positive team relations.
  • Assist with audits, surveys, and inspections.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active LPN license in the state of Iowa (Required)
  • Prior experience in nursing leadership or floor supervision (Preferred)
  • Prior experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care setting (Preferred)
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • A commitment to quality, compliance, and resident-centered service
  • Compassionate leadership and a team-first attitude
