Working Conditions

May involve travel, including overnight stays, as needed. 

Special Requirements

Proficienct in American Sign Langauge (ASL). 

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Possesion of at least one valid certificate issued by the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf.

Temporary Appointments (TAU) may be considered if conditions warrant.
