About the role:

Develops capable processes and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production. Contributes with Process Development engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Lead project teams and advise the work of lower level technicians which will require an extensive knowledge and independent thinking.

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week.

Your responsibility includes:

• Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems. Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes.
• Coordinate procuring and qualification of new or modified test and/or process equipment.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute testing or manufacture of prototypes/materials with minimal engineering guidance, developing or revising test methods as required.
• Use developed networks in assisting project teams in obtaining necessary materials, services, and test data, with internal or external resources.
• Train/Coach peers on the technical aspects of their job including interpreting and rationalizing results (i.e. statistics, DOE).
• Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
• Typically makes important technical contributions as part of an extended team primarily for projects of medium to high complexity with minimal supervision.
• Work cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain and Marketing to ensure project success.
• Proposes and develops new or modified designs/materials/processes under minimal direction from senior technical staff. Identifies problems and proposes solutions to technical challenges. Independently solves basic issues within functional area. May mentor on technical or scientific applications.
• Supports, researches, and evaluates new technologies within functional area. Remains knowledgeable of available technologies within functional area. May identify new applications for established technologies (e.g. equipment, systems, etc.).
• Influences peers and project teams with well documented technical arguments and able to articulate resource needs to accomplish experiments.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
